Texas Cannabis Collective took to the skies and traveled to Nashville, TN for the 2022 Southern Hemp Expo 4 (SHE4). The event saw a gathering of multiple facets of the growing hemp industry in the US. SHE4 gathered visitors coming in from various states to discuss business and learn more about the industry. The podcast is split into two segments as there quite a few guests that came on to the show including the founder and lead executive of the event, Morris Beagle.

FBI noted online that applicants to join the FBI cannot have consumed cannabis including CBD for at least one year, Cannarock took place at Come and Take it Live in Austin, TX, and the DEA has backed off a proposal to place two psychedelic compounds in the Schedule 1 classification after two groups put up a challenge to the item. This week in review WNBA star Brittney Griner has been sentenced to 9 years in Russian Penal Colony and advocates are voicing out. The City of San Marcos will see decrim on the ballot in November. San Marcos city council sends decriminalization measure to the ballot

Mano Amiga along with other advocacy groups such a Ground Game Texas and Texas Cannabis Collective gathered signatures of registered voters across several months. Those signature were delivered to City Hall at the end of May, and were verified just this past week. The San Marcos City Council was then required to decide on whether to pass the measure themselves or send it to the November election ballot.
