HB 1805 TCUP expansion to be heard on house floor

HB 1805 by Rep Klick will have its second reading, and will be open for debate and first vote on the House floor on Tuesday, April 11.

The bill recently passed the Public Health Committee with substitute language. The major change from committee is a substitute going to the floor, which places a volumetric dose of 10mg in place of the current 1% THC cap. This means cannabis may be prescribed and dispensed similar to other prescribed medicines in Texas, with a max dose of 10mg.
