Delta-8/synthetics language fails to pass lege, D8 not out of the woods yet.

HB 3948 (Hemp Cleanup Bill) and HB 2593 (THC Concentrates), was required to have a conference committee report filed and distributed by Saturday evening at midnight, HB 3948 failed to meet that mark while HB 2593 succeeded.

HB 1535 for TCUP isn’t going to conference committee and the Hemp Bill and Concentrates Bill will be going to committee and a report by committee for the session will be done by midnight tonight.

Hemp HB 3948, passes Texas Senate with amendments

HB 3948, Hemp Cleanup Bill, passed the Texas Senate today with amendments to include making hemp a feed commodity and synthetic delta-8 prohibitions still in place from the committee.

HB 1535, Medical Expansion, Passes Texas Senate Unanimously

HB 1535, TCUP Expansion, was brought to the intent calendar immediately after passing committee yesterday and was heard on the Senate floor this evening, passing unanimously.
