The Center for Brain Health at the University of Texas at Dallas is conducting two research studies titled Marijuana & the Brain, and Understand How Marijuana Affects Motivation and Effort .
Dr. Filbey’s Research Lab has posted to the Brain Health website that they are conducting a new study to understand how marijuana affects cognition. They are looking for three groups of participants to join that study.
The first group looks for non-users aged 18-30 years that are right handed, the second is looking for regular users aged 18-30 years that are right handed, and the third group is looking for past users that are aged 18-30 years that are right handed. The study will take approximately 4.5 hours and participants will be compensated for travel and time.

For the Understand How Marijuana Affects Motivation and Effort study, there are two groups the researchers are looking for. For the first group, participants need to be between ages 18-55, right handed and have not used marijuana in the past year. For the second group, participants need to be between ages 18-55, right handed and have not used marijuana in the past year. The study takes about 4.5 hours of total time, and you are eligible for monetary compensation.
