This week in cannabis news we are going over the next big events and participation items that are taking place.
First is the Texas Hemp Awards which has voting open until the end of November.
The Texas Hemp Awards is a ceremony to recognize the hard work that the cannabis community nominates and wishes to see recognized for its hard work in the industry.

All of the proceeds that are received by the Texas Hemp Awards go to help with the Last Prisoner Project. LPP’s mission is to make sure nobody is staying in jail for cannabis in places where it has become legal. The LPP is a project started by legendary Steve DeAngelo.
Texas Cannabis Collective and its members are nominated for a few categories. TCC is nominated for Texas Based Advocate Warrior, Texas Hemp Event in 2022 for both Texas Cannabis Roundup with Greenlight Events and the Texas Marijuana March and Freedom Festival with DFW NORML, Texas Based Hemp Production, Texas-based nonprofit with a cannabis focused mission, and Favorite TikTok or Instagram account for our Instagram @txcannabiscollective.
Anybody wishing to make a donation is asked to make it directly to the Last Prisoner Project with a dedication to the Texas hemp Awards. The first annual Texas Hemp Summit is a two-day B2B event produced by the Texas Hemp Coalition that will focus on the business side of the Texas hemp industry through educational discussions related to farming, processing, cannabinoids, fiber, and retail topics concerning Texas hemp operators.The Summit will be held at Texas A&M University at the AgriLife Center.

On November 19th will be the 2nd annual Hemp Harvest Festival presented by Sweet Sensi from 1pm to 9pm.
The Texas Hemp Harvest Festival is a celebration of our hemp-growing community and the people who make it all happen. They plan on continuing this festival to bring tourists, vendors, musicians as well as fun to the Austin community.
The Texas Hemp Harvest Festival is a CBD event in Austin that celebrates the state’s hemp harvest. Get ready for live music, food, and so much more at this event! Farmers, processors, manufacturers, and retailers attend from all over to promote their favorite products and share information.
