Majority Leader Steny Hoyer posted earlier today that the House intends to vote on the MORE Act next week.

First votes of the week will now occur on Wednesday, December 2nd at 6:30 p.m., with last votes of the week on Friday, December 4th.  The House will consider several bills under suspension of the Rules and the MORE Act.”

For those not acquainted with the bill, it is the Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment, and Expungement (MORE) Act, HR 3884, which ends the federal prohibition of cannabis. The bill will deschedule cannabis from its current position of Schedule 1.

Still trying to figure out what gave them the right to tell me what I can and cannot do with a simple god given plant… I’m not harming any one nor am I damaging anyone’s property… I thought my rights were solid… not any more… we’re f88ked…the US Constitution means nothing to these bastards…so, I recommend passing the bill…give us our god given rights back…’Nam 70-71
